SPOTTISWOODE BALLANTYNE & CO LTD - MEMORIAL

On Thursday 9th March 1922 at 12.15pm a memorial service was held for those men from Spottiswoode Ballantyne & Co., Ltd., a printing and puublishing company, who died during the First World War. The dedication ceremony was conducted by The Right Rev. Bishop King, D.D., there was an address by the Chairman, Mr Austen-Leigh and the memorial was unveiled by Mrs Austen-Leigh. Spottiswode Ballantyne & Co., Ltd., were located at the time at 1 New Street Square, London E.C.
