The village war memorial is to be found in the south-east corner of St John the Baptists Churchyard, Northorpe. It takes the form of a square pillar surmounted by a draped urn and laurel wreath with the inscription on stone panels on thepillar. On the front face, above the dedication, is a moulded rose. The whole stands on a stone base. There are seventeen names for World War 1, twelve men who served and 5 who died; there are two names for World War 2.

KITCHEN	George	Private 2667. 5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 13th October 1915, aged 23 years. Son of Frederick and Mary Jane Kitchen of Northorpe, Lincs. Commemorated LOOS MEMORIAL, Panel 31 to 34.
SERGEANT	Charles Francis	Private 240937. 5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 2nd July 1916, aged 19 years. Son of Joseph Thomas and Annie Sergeant of Scotter, Lincs. Native of Redbourne, Lincs. Buried GOMMECOURT WOOD NEW CEMETERY, I.G.24.
DALBY	John Arthur	Private 21428. 10th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 14th August 1916 (15th August on memorial). Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Pier and Face 1C.
MARPER	Robert	Private 4022. 8th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 18th November 1916 (19th November on memorial), aged 19 years. Son of Councillor Frederick Dixon and Edith Mary Marper of Northorpe. Buried VARENNES MILITARY CEMETERY, I.G.23.
WATSON	Thomas Vincent Joseph	Private 66615. 6th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Died 11th April 1918. Son of Fred and Fanny Watson of Clay farm, Waddingham, Lincs. Commemorated PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL, Panel 2.
