The
West Hartlepool memorial is to the dead of the Great War and stands
in a public square created for it called "Victory Square".
The memroial is granite, with a central obelisk and long lower wings
covered with twelve cast metal tablets with the names of the fallen
on. The tbalets have as yet to be transcribed.
