Nurse,
Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD). Died 9 December 1918 in Lichfield
Military Hospital, Aged 35. Daughter of George Bramfitt (Colliery
Deputy) who died 1917. Her family home was at Lumley House, The
Villas, Bolsover. In the 1911 census she was aged 27, unmarried,
born Houghton, Durham, resident with her parents, Geoprge and
Isabella, at 14 Hill Top, Bolsover, Derbyshire. In the 1901 census
she was aged 17, daughter of George and Isabella Bramfitt, born
Durham, resident 5, Bowlby Street, Houghton Le Spring, Durham;
her father was empployed as a Colliery Deputy Overman (Below Ground).
IN the 1891 census she was aged 7, a scholar, daughter of George
and Isabella, born Houghton Le Spring, resident Mautland Street,
Houghton Le Spring, Durham; her father was a coal miner. See also
