The Adstock War Memorial is in the form of a shrine surrounding a stone tablet, it is fixed to the churchyard wall and has a base and pediment which are flanked by two pillars. It contains the names of 40 men who served in World War 1 and of 7 that died and one for World War 2. The memorial here is identical to that at Thornborough and Nash. Those men who died are marked with an .

	PHILLIPS	Francis 'Frank' [Leslie]	Private 4336, 2nd/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Died of wounds at home 20th July 1916. Age 23. Born and resident Adstock, enlisted Aylesbury. Son of Reuben and Charlotte Phillips, of Back St., Adstock. Buried near the south-west boundary in ST. CECILIA CHURCHYARD CHURCHYARD, ADSTOCK, Buckinghamshire.
	PHILLIPS	Henry 'Harry' [Thomas]	Private 265927, 1st/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Killed in action 15th August 1916. Enlisted Buckingham, resident Adstock. Buried in POZIERES BRITISH CEMETERY, OVILLERS-LA BOISSELLE, Somme, France. Plot IV. Row E. Grave 29.
	PHILLIPS	Reginald	Lance Sergeant 8953, 1st Battalion, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Killed in action in the Persian Gulf 22nd November 1915. Aged 24. Born and resident Adstock, enlisted Oxford. Son of Samuel and Eva Phillips, of Adstock, Winslow, Bucks. No known grave. Commemorated on BASRA MEMORIAL, Iraq. Panel 26 and 63.

Commemorated on DOIRAN MEMORIAL, Greece.

Born at Barnet, Herts [CWGC] or South Minns, Herts [SDGW], resident and enlisted Uxbridge, Middx. Son of George and Mary Anne Turner, of Broadclyst, Exeter. In the 1901 census he was aged 4, born High Barnet, Middlesex, newphew of William and Alice B Phillips, resident 11, East Street, Adstock, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.
