Extract from The Last Post - Roll of Officers who fell in South Africa 1899-1902 by Mildred G Dooner, published by Naval and Military Press Inglis. - Capt. A. W. Inglis, Scottish Horse, was killed in action, near Brakenlaagte, 20 miles NorthWest of Bethel, Oct. 31st, 1901. He was 24 years of age, and was previously a 2nd lieut. in the LY., to which he had been appointed March 20th, 1901. |
