The
Lismore & Appin War Memorial is in the form of a marble plaque on
which are inscribed the fallen. It is kept in the (new - 1830's) Parish
Church at Appin (GB Grid Ref NM938459). There is also a Roll of Honour
for those who served their country from Appin which is on a cast brass
plaque and has as yet to be included here. There are 17 names listed
of the fallen with name, rank, battalion, Regiment, manner of death,
where and the date.
